Terms
Last changed 16 October 2026.
These are the terms for using MindMeal, on this website and through an AI assistant. They are short on purpose. If something here is unclear, write to us.
What MindMeal is
MindMeal shows restaurants’ menus, dish by dish, so you can see what a place serves, what it costs and what is in it before you go. It is free to use, and diners don’t need an account. MindMeal doesn’t cook, sell or serve food, and it is not a party to what you buy from a restaurant.
Where the information comes from
Menus come from what each restaurant publishes itself, or from the restaurant. A menu can be out of date or wrong, and a restaurant can change a dish or a price at any time. Dishes and prices are the restaurant’s: confirm them with the restaurant before you rely on them.
Allergens
MindMeal shows only what a restaurant’s menu, or the restaurant itself, states about allergens, and never guesses. Where a dish says “not stated”, or shows nothing about an allergen, the menu does not say: nobody has told us, and it does not mean the dish is free of that allergen. Nothing on MindMeal is a guarantee that a dish is safe for you. Always tell the restaurant about an allergy before you order.
MindMeal AI and other AI assistants
MindMeal AI, and assistants such as Claude and ChatGPT that use MindMeal, answer in their own words and can summarise a menu inaccurately. The restaurant’s page on MindMeal shows the menu as it was printed: check it there, and ask the restaurant about an allergy. What an assistant does with what you tell it is between you and its maker. How MindMeal handles it is in the privacy notice.
Fair use
Read and search MindMeal as a person, or an assistant acting for a person, would. Please don’t copy the menus in bulk, and don’t get round the limits we set on how often you can ask.
Restaurants
A menu, and a restaurant’s name, belong to the restaurant. It can claim its page to correct its menu, or ask us to remove the page: write to info@mindmeal.net (a restaurant that has claimed its page can remove it itself).
Our responsibility
As far as the law allows, MindMeal gives you the information as it is, and cannot promise that every menu is complete, current or correct. Nothing here limits any right the law gives you as a consumer, or our responsibility where the law does not allow it to be limited.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, we change this page and its date. The date at the top is when it last changed.
